I just saw the new widescreen MacBooks, pretty decent. May have to go to the Apple store and play with one. But I doubt I'd get a new Mac anytime soon.

I just ordered a loaded "twin" to that one pictured but in black. Been using the 13" black regular Macbook & it rocks. The MAC book pro is supposed to run circles around the regular Macbook.

yeah, his was about $2k, he got another 512 of ram, and a incase neoprene case. his GF is a teacher, so he got a 10% discount.

BTW, we kept monitoring the temp. for awhile it was at 34 degrees C, after using front row, it stayed at 60 degrees C. . . kinda high IMHO.

^^^ i hear that

i already have several PC's. i want a mac now, just for general computer use. i think now a days i would just use a PC for gaming. i really want either a dedicated linux or mac machine for my daily driver.

macbook pro! I just got one to handle my pictures and photoshop and I absolutely LOVE it. It's so freakin' fast.
