its either the ECU or fuel pump. I am leaning towards the fuel pump. If we leave it in the on position for a few minutes it turns over and runs for a few seconds and dies, if you give it throttle in this time, it dies instantly. So yea, does anyone have a 95 silver labeled M3 DME ??

What he said.

It's either a weak/dying fuel pump or a dead/dying ECU.

I think my dad merc had this problem before. The car suddely dies on the road.

When trying to start, it started and stop within 1-2 second.

The dealer add some "engine oil" in the area we fill up petrol to clean the fuel line and making the petrol flow smoothly. The cause of it is the dirty fuel.

For fuel pump check - pull a rubber fuel line in engine compartment and w/a glass jar or "catch can" have someone turn key to "on" and see if there's a constant fuel flow. Or if you have the resources put a fuel pressure guage on it. This will help narrow it down.

Yep, just letting any future readers know.

Fuel pumps are very easy to replace, I'll throw up a DIY soon.

Replaced that and everything worked great.
