I wanted a wagon because I don't own a pickup and I need a way to move stuff occasionally. I used to own a manual tranny 240 Volvo wagon. Not fast, but a great car.
Ah ok makes sense....
I found this and it has really piqued my interest, even though its a few hours away, I have a friend there who may be able to check it out for me....
So if this guy seems legit, what is the process to heighten my chances of simply driving up there and swapping cars and driving the new one down? Do I ask him to email me the maintenance reports and carfax, and then if all looks good, I go up there, take the car to a local dealer, inspect (how much approx?) and if no major work needed, pay and drive home?
