Okay this will be short, but WHAT IS WITH PEOPLE AND CHRISTMAS BEFORE THANKSGIVING. I hate seeing christmas shit up in every store and adds on tv before Thanksgiving. STOP IT AMERICA. The day after thanksgiving go for it and I won't say anything but i feel like every year it gets earlier and earlier and at some point maybe we will celebrate christmas and then the day after start preparing for the next one. I wish they would just wait until after thanksgiving. I think im going to go sleep until turkey day so I dont have to see anymore commercials or walk into any stores covered in decorations.

By the way I do not dislike christmas in the least I just hate all this early stuff.

yea i hate that shit. I had the same rant to my friends. also...santa clause was out at our mall last weekend...wtf?!

i cant stand the mall around xmas. i plan on getting most my shopping done AWAY from the mall

^^^ yeah, its the most profitable season of the year. If malls could have the Christmas season go from the beginning of September to the end of May they would.

It gets earlier and earlier because brick & mortar stores have lost a ton of sales to the internet. That's why they start early now- to try and catch you before you hide behind the computer in December.

LOL in Canada we celebrate thanksgiving the 2nd week of October, after that its all Christmas. I see so much Christmas shit before halloween even starts it makes me sick!!

Retailers know that alot of people start their Christmas/holiday shopping early to avoid crowds and it's also a subliminal message to others to get ready (earlier, people tend to spend more because of more income - further out, than last minute) Major retailers are nothing more than "money vacuums" - I try to shop at my leisure year round for things that fit certain folks and usually from around the world so it's unique to that person instead of what's on sale or is the "main craze". Others I give something they need like $$$

I showed up to work this morning to find all kinds of Christmas decorations hanging from everywhere :wtf:

I work with a lot of women, one of which I am sure lives by what the retailers do.

Ditto. Fucking Walmart starts stocking Xmas stuff once the halloween stuff is almost gone. They just push the halloween stuff back to make room.

heh..at my sisters house..(when I was still there..) the day after halloween there were like 5 houses on her street that had crap up..thats all I have seen so far though..

LMAO..umm idk it was on there houses though..we actually have a saguaro in the back that has lights on it..I was told they have been there since we moved in..haha 15 years... when I was younger my sisters and I would throw rocks at them to see how many we could break..
