"el tour de tucson"
Today is el tour de tucson..it's some tucson people's copy idea of el tour de france..IT SUCKS..where we live we are literally trapped..if we want to go anywhere we have to sit at the end of our road for like half an hour..and then you have to deal with a bunch of assholes on bikes because they are allowed to do w/e they want today..every year one or two get hit and the driver goes to jail even though most of the time it isn't all the drivers fault..haha..but anyways..so my mom is going to come pick me up but I had to spend like 30 minutes on the phone with her just to help her figure out which way to go and route around it as much as possible..I have always thaught it would be a good day to take our truck out....50 POINTS!!!! not really though..cus i'd be pised if someone hit me when I was riding my bike..but at least I do it politely and don't swerve in and out of the street..

When we lived there (for ~15 years) Tour day was stay at home day.
No bikes where we were at 22nd and Tucson but traffic patterns were strange that day so it was much quieter at home.

I'm sure it brings in revenue for the community, though. I would stay home and take one for the team.
