Hate it when you rely on someone and they answer you the famous "Sorry, I just forgot

"

I mean, :wft ! I asked my dad on Monday to double check with his tech if it was cool for me to come today (Wednesday) to do my rotors and all. And of course I asked him Monday night and he answered "Sorry, I forgot"

OK, so next day I call him and ask him to make sure.... again, same deal that night.

And today, I call him and tell him, I'll be there in like an hour, ask him just to make sure. And of course I get there and he tells "Sorry, I just forgot, but am sure it's ok with him"

And of course, it isn't

so now I have to wait yet another week to do that

Today I got something like this, I have a group project due next tues (horrible time cause everyone is going home for easter) and I sent an e-mail to try and get my groups shit in order here are 2 responses:

I mean, what's the point of doing it with jackstands when I can use air tools and a lift

I get something similar almost daily - "I don't know, it's not my job", or "no-one told me". It's called lack of accountability & responsibility. Rooz in your case, your Dad had more important things on his mind, - that happens. I'm sure if it was a priority issue - he would've been more intentive, Just remeber the things he does for you that you haven't asked for.

Be thankful for your connections at the repair shop. Don't complain when you don't get what you want every once in a while. Get the jack stands and floor jack out and be a man this time.
