car is screwed I think..
I think my tranny is fucked on my car, because for the first 2 gears it was having trouble getting past 2500 rpm's then when I managed to get it past there it would shift at around 3 grand then the rest of the gears would be fine. I would literally have to floor it...
Not entirely sure, but if it is I think im going to sell my car and just cut the losses of me getting things like new suspension, and brakes. I cant keep spending all my money fixing my car...

yeah its just that I have an oil leak, powersteering leak, ac leak that is internal so I would need a new condenser or something. Plus I need a paintjob, one of my doors has NO clearcoat, my mirrors have no clearcoat, a few scratches on the hood are down to bare metal, bent nosepanel.
btw, i just think you should consider it, but if you fix your tranny, lets say you pay 1000 dollars, you may be able to sell your car for MUCH more than you would be able to sell it w/a screwed up tranny, much more, meaning > 1000 .. so it might be better for you

It just seems odd how it happened instantly I mean it wasn't gradually doing this. So you guys think it is the tranny? I didnt drive it today, but I might drive it a bit tomorrow and see if I can describe the symptoms some more.

Earlier post you mentioned it had an oil leak - are you sure it's not trans fluid?(I know - stupid question, but have to ask) Low fluid level would act the same & note DO NOT put it in nuetral & rev past 2k. Without giving the technical reasons, trust me - it's not healthy for BMW auto trans.

No its definetely have an oil leak, mehcanics have told me earlier, it looks like the oilpan is leaking. I have to top up the car almost every week too with oil.
I'd start with trans fluid & filter change, then drive it moderately for about 200 miles. If trans goes to long recirculating old fluid through trans filter they tend to gum up valvebody & solenoids. Hopefully that's all that it is.
