Cops!
No.. didn't get a ticket.. I just hate how cops abuse the crap out of the extra power they have....
1. Driving faster than everyone else...
2. getting right on your rear bumper just to make you speed...
3. One thing that don't like, might be just because I don't have kids yet. I trully don't like how cops direct traffic for some schools... to me it's just annoying as crap. And when I am one of the first cars to be stopped, I always mess with the cop by revving the engine a few times
Feel free to add to the list...

My family just tells me that cops here in the US sometimes need more training. I see plenty of cops that drive right, but I guess not all

Cops in my area usually go the speed limit, which pisses me off because then I feel the need to go the speed their going to keep from pushing any buttons.

I hate when you see a cop driving along the freeway about 5-10mph under.
You kinda hesitate, matching his speed, glance around nervously for a speed limit sign, ask yourself why he's going to slowly, then ever-so-slightly increase speed back up to the limit and pass him, never taking your eyes off of him.
Damn cops.

see you guys got it all wrong
anything done in life, if done with enough confidence will be allowed. i never slow for cops on the highway. if i go past one whose on the side of the road. i never touch my brakes. brakes only draw attention and you acknowledge that you were doing wrong. just keep on driving. chances are by the time u react. your either already boned or in the clear

When your going the flow of traffic which is faster than the speed limit and everyone sees a cop and slows down do you think he's going to pull over a car that slowed or the car that kept going even though he was there?

Would work, but I tend to drive 15-20 above speed limit

I know, I used to go that fast until my ticket, once I had to drive someone home but I was really tired and it was late and my friend said "Yeah he was so exhausted that he was driving half the speed he normally does, which is still like 15 mph over the speed limit but you know..", but no more of that for me, I like being able to driving in general more than I like speeding.

Well said. It's all about your attitude, even when you talk to them. I don't understand why people get so nervous around them. They're just people.
Rooz's point #3 is a good one .. cops are notoriously very bad at directing traffic.

I gotta agree with Hoppy, I got a ticket last fall I was doing 20 over. The cop only wrote me for 5 over (no points and just a fine) because i knew i was fucked and just was nice to the officer, also helps that I have no points on my license.
My roommate is a Criminal Justice major and is going to be a cop and I can tell now that he will either be abusive to his powers, that or he will be a big pussy and do everything by the book, I haven't made up my mind yet (hes a lot of talk sometimes but doesn't always follow through)

Hey, my uncle is a cop here in Pgh. I can acknowledge that cops suck, but we have it pretty sweet here. The cops are so understaffed that they can barely spend any time writing tickets. They are always busy catering to some drunks in oakland or the southside. The only ones you have to look out for is the state troopers, those sons of bitches got no sense of humor.
