Why, what do you think is wrong with VW? Product, aftersales service, features,...etc.
Don't you like DSG?

The comment wasn't directed towards you. Yeah, Saabs can be a headache but they love boost and if you have the mechanical experience, which my friend you are talking about is close to his ASE certification, it's not really an issue. He has nothing but a fogged airbox and a TCS switch and he hangs with ///M's. What shitpiles.

of course its an issue, its an issue with the best mechanic out there, it can be done, but its a pain and somethings are a LOT easier to do in other cars.
he hangs with ///M's? what kind of M is that exactly.. or does hanging with M's mean for the first 10 feet?

Well actually a RWD would get a better launch so no not for the first 10 feet smartass. He can hang with a '95 M3 bone stock, I don't see how that's hard to understand... When I say hang I mean he loses by no more than 1 CL in a straight line race.
It's an issue with the best mechanics out there? Oh you mean BMW mechanics ? When you have mechanical experience and get to know your own car it is not much of a problem, generally they dont work on saabs because they are much different, but I wouldn't say much more difficult.

Not a fan of VW at all...I used to own one and I was always dumping $ into it.
Funny, yesterday some dude with a Jetta was trying to get me to go on the highway. He blew past me and then slowed down. I noticed that it wasn't even a VR6. (But it did have a huge fart-can) He was running side by side with me at about 75mph and then he looks at me and point forward as if he wanted to race. I'm thinking, is this guy serious? I see his car jerk, so I knew he downshifted and was "trying" to beat me. So I quckly drop it into 4th and I absolutely dusted his ass. Within about 5 seconds I was about 15 car lengths ahead of him. It looked like he wasn't even moving and I just took off. Haha later douchebag

look i dont wanna major hijack thread and keep arguing with you, but youve probably never worked on a saab, and right, thats no problem because you can take your car to the saab dealer. well if you take it there, you might as well buy another car..
right when we got the saab, there was a fuel leak, we took it to the dealer, and they charged 70 dollars for a HOSE CLAMP.. yep, 70 bucks, 12 bucks for the part!! and 58 for the labor.. WTF! so either way they arent practical, and if you try working on them yourself, its a pain, BMWs are MUCH easier to work on, trust me i know
200HP SAAB hanging with a 95 m3???

see I like the old vw's like the squareback. or the old bettle. Those things were reliable simple cars and would get you around nicely.
