I ran over a plastic shopping bag the other day, and it got stuck on the exhaust pipe. Now the car wreaks of melting plastic every time I drive it. Wonder how long it's gonna take before it all burns off
That sucks... Sometimes on the freeway there are Mexican tour buses and my mom was behind one once that had a bunch of water coming from out of the back. She was scared of what it was so she took the car to the car wash before she touched it again..

damn that sucks. Well how long it takes depends on how much melted onto your exhaust... I'd try to like scrape it off or get some sort of cleaner. Depending on the plastic you can use acetone (nail polish remover) or alcohol. I'm not certain which is good for your case especially since it's been melted. Also I haven't tried those on metal so you might want to look into that. Alternatively you could just leave your car running for awhile and just burn it off.
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
that does suck. sometimes running over a bag is inevitable tho, because sometimes it comes right in front of you at the last second!
my wife went to school with a girl who drove a neon. according to this girl, she drove over a bag and it got stuck on her axle and everytime she would drive, she would here it turning and eventually made it go thud, thud, thud.
