Dammit, that's twice!
Happened in the same movie theater . . a while back, my g/f & I went to see Children of Men at this place, and the projector bulb blew up halfway through the movie. They had to give us comp tickets because they couldn't get it fixed in time so as not to delay the next showing.
Earlier today, we went to see Reign Over Me, and the whole place went dark halfway through the movie again. This time the whole shopping center had a blackout. Comp tix again, and it took us nearly an hour to get out of the parking lot 
I don't know, what are the odds? Maybe we watch too many movies, and this is bound to happen. I love that theater, and it's just bad luck I guess. But I %#@-ing hate seeing a movie halfway and not being able to finish it

As a matter of fact, it WAS Clifton Commons. The whole place, all the way to Target, was out.

that blows, we have seen a lot of movies in theaters, luckily its never happened to us. that happening never even crossed my mind. you would think they would have plenty of spare bulbs handy.
we tried to see reign over me last night. how was it so far?
instead we saw TMNT, and being a huge turtle fan back in the day, it was pretty much ok in my book.

Reign Over Me was actually good, and had some funny parts to it. Until of course the blackout. We probably had about 40min more to go before it happened, which really sucks. I also wanna see TMNT, but the g/f absolutely refuses to see it  I'll have to find someone else to go with . . someone who understands the cult following

Well, I finally got to see the 2nd half of Reign Over Me today, and I have to say I was disappointed with the ending. Oh well. But I did also see Grindhouse, which is a double feature- the 1st part was good, and the 2nd one sucked so bad that we left halfway through. But hey- it was free
