replacing 1998 z3 2.8 heater hose

The heater hose started leaking on my roommate's 1998 Z3 2.8l and he's asking me for help so i thought I'd ask for your help! The hose that is leaking is the one under the intake by the fuel injectors. It looks like I will have to remove the intake, throttle body, and air box to get to it. has anyone done this before and can you give me a procedure list or any tips or tricks? I searched for an answer to this but had no luck, if there is already a thread on this please link me to it! Thank you all in advance!

Welcome to United Bimmer.

The 2.8L motor in the Z3 is the same motor found in the E36 so the process is almost identical.

First remove the intae, MAF and inlet hose that leads to the throttle body. Take the fuel rail cover off, unbolt the fuel rail and remove the wiring line to the injectors. Then unbolt the bolts holding the intake manifold to the head. They arent torqued down very hard, but they are a pain to remove. Unbolt the 4 bolts holding the throttle body to the intake manifold.Unbolt the intake manifold to the bracket underneath it. Now you can take the manifold off.
