what do you think?(need answer fast!)
buy my thunderbird from my parents for 500? thats 200 less for what they bought it for. ill be able to replace the tranny pretty soon(few weeks at best) what do you think? because they just threw this at me a little while ago and some people are getting ready to show up to look at it to buy. lol. info:
160K miles, engine in good condition, small oil leak, tranny about to blow(it might last 5-6 months if im easy on it) interior is perfect besides cracks in the dash. no dents but quite a few scratches. clear coat is comming off the front and back bumper. and thats about it. lol.
so whatdya think?
random pic of some burn out marks i left this morning while heading to work: http://www.blinkfile.com/view-478 biggest burn out i have ever done. lol. it just rained and it was wet so it was good.
no dont buy it, keep saving up money, including the money for the tranny, and lets say that 500 dollars also, sell the car(maybe your parents can give u the money for the car) and take all that, and buy a truck or something, something that would interest u, i just dont see much of a future in this car, even if the engine is good, there will probably be other things that are going to go soon, sorry to say this(no offence) but its american, and its not a truck, so dont count on it being too reliable

However, it still depends on how the person cared for the auto, how well it was maintained, etc. I've seen some last a very long time. I had a tbird, it was VERY comfortable and smooth. If you Like it, get it!

First decide what kind of car YOU actually want - this is what the 10th option you posted here in the last month?
Then either get a better paying job or "put your head down" & crank up the ambition and savings - set yourself some goals & stick to them.
We all know you're smarter than $6 hr (and don't lay that crap "that's all they're paying in Kansas") Part time stagehands are getting $18hr nationwide and that's starting wage not experienced. HELL just your internet knowledge and you computer experience should net you $10 an hour,
Don't mean to rant on you bro, but you need to set some goals & go after them - that BMW or truck ain't going to come knockin' on your door & the same applies for a better paying gig. I hate hearing ANY of you guys working for "scraps" - these stagehands that are hired to work at local venues are part time, on call and most of these idiots don't own or know how to use a computer and they make $100 day minimum (8 hrs) Most only work 14 to 20 days a month - that's $1400 and they're F'ING IDIOTS! They unload our trucks and push road cases to where we need them...duh??? And the experienced ones get upwards of $30 an hour for sound & lighting specialties...
