Maserati(s) are over-rated.

I'd take a Jaguar XKR over any Maserati anyday.

It's not a concept car. It's a "one off" only for Masserattis' aniversary. They're supposedly going to campaign it at races & promotions they're involved in. I agree w/"Lot" - the Jag ftw

i'd take the Maserati, if only because of the Ferrari-derived V8 and manual gearbox. Way better than the J-gate automatic in the Jag.

it may be rediculously radical, but at the same time we need to realize that since they built it and it apparently works, this ushers in a new era for the design of supercars....

one problem -- a jaguar XKR isn't available with a manual.

don't get me wrong, i love the XJ/K series. my mother had a 94 XJS and that thing was sweet! i swear it was one of the most beautiful cars i've ever seen... they definitely have a classic design to them.

Look down the right hand side of the artical. There are 2 pictures showing the structure of the car. All rods and tubes so that it resembles a Birdcage.
