My girlfriend (Laura) sports a 2003 Civic EX, completely stock of course.
Anyway, I just got a call from her a few minutes ago... she was driving along and a Jeep in front of her stopped all of a sudden to make a left turn (probably didn't notice it was coming up or something until the last minute), and she rear-ended them. The Jeep was barely hurt, just a small dent on the bumper, so they decided not to file for an accident report because it would have probably been Laura's fault (questionable).
She's getting me a picture later this evening, but she said the hood is bent some, the front bumper is ruined, the grills are bent in, headlights cracked (but not bad, don't really have to replace those), and on the inside dash, a few random lights came on like her battery light.
She'd rather not take her car to a dealership and get ripped off or something, so I'm trying to source the replacement parts for her and replace them myself, to save money (Civics are known to be easy to work on, right? hah). However my problem is I know NOTHING about Civic vendors.
Does anyone have any directions they can point me in for getting replacement parts for Civics? What are some known name-brand companies that can sell OEM parts for cheap? She doesn't want to aftermarket anything, and would rather keep it completely stock, so don't point me at anything that would be an "upgraded look". Also is there anything else I should consider with this?

Thanks!
As questionable as it is, she still rear ended them and not vice versa. She got off easy ... insurance wont end up raping her for the next 5 years.
My wife (also Laura) rear ended someone driving on ice, didn't do any damage to the other car so they opted for also not filing a claim. She turned it in on her Collision insurance and it was $2300 worth of damage, and they didn't even raise our rates, of course then a month later a hit and run driver sideswiped my car (my old POS hyundai) and did $3600 worth of damage, still no raise in rates. So I would probably turn it in under collision.
^^ Hum, her's being a 2003 might have had something to do with it.
She got a quote of the damage running around $4,800, so she turned it in for insurance and had it fixed at the dealership. I think they're still waiting to hear if the rates are going up or not.
Haha, she got her car back from the dealership good as new, except for one thing....
She had a BMW front license plate on it (showing her love for bimmers also, haha), but when they gave her the car back, the front was blank. They gave her the license plate seperately saying they refuse to put it back on. haha
glad she got it back, now you just have to see what your rates are going to be like. I get my car back this weekend and I am just bouncing off the walls waiting to get back behind the wheel.
