Both of my parents parents were wealthy, yes, but they lived a lifestyle that far exceeded their financial capabilities. When they died, there was a massive amount of debt to be dealt with, leaving both of my parents with virtually no inheritence. My parents slacked off in college expecting an easy life after college if you know what i mean. well, it didn't happen and they started fresh out of college with subpar grades and subpar jobs.
the cars they drove were a reflection on how their parents fared in life.
