What Honda owners are saying....
All the time when ricers provoke us and we own them, I've always wondered what they told their friends, or what they thought about it.
So I checked out Honda-Tech.com, the biggest Honda forum on the internet. I click on the kill story section and this is the first story that comes up:
http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1214680
It's a guy in THIS car, with a few bolt ons.... who claimed he beat a stock STI in a few races, from roll AND stop.
Wow.

Sort of off topic, but I saw a nice turbo Civic hatchback... trying to find out who it is on my local car forum -- i want a ride It seemed quick as hell. No rice on it though

Civics CAN be done very nicely... though in general they're ruined with rice.
My opinion though.

vtec, pulleys, exhaust, flywheel, intake.... nothing MAJOR. A bunch of small things.
Vtec is the only semi-big thing, but that shouldn't allow him to take an sti.

OK, yeah, BS falg definetly needs to go up on that one. I personnaly don't have anything against honda's, I mean they are great cars, reliable have a good mpg and all, they are great cars as long as oyu don't try to make them fast.....
Look at some of the responses that thread got:

I mean think logically for a second... I stay neck and neck with most stock Civics... and look what I drive. Any mods short of a turbo or supercharger wont even bring that Civic into the WRX territory... much less allow it to beat a STi.

You're all missing something.
He has an imported Prelude/Accord motor, which is almost one and a half times his original displacement.

Would that allow him to walk over sti's from a roll and from a stop?
