2006 Chevy Impala

http://www.thecarconnection.com/Vehi...180.A9027.html

Quote:
The Impala is assembled at GM's Oshawa, Ontario, Canada plant, recently cited as the highest-quality facility in North and South America for the third time in four years by J. D. Power. It's also the most efficient North American plant according to the 2005 Harbour Report. Chevy pointedly adds that the 2005 Impala beat Accord, Altima, Five Hundred and 300, and topped Camry for the fifth straight year, in Power's 2005 IQS ratings.
2006 Chevrolet Impala
Base price: $21,990
Engines: 3.5-liter V-6, 211 hp/214 lb-ft; 3.9-liter V-6, 242 hp/242 lb-ft; 5.3-liter V-8, 303 hp/323 lb-ft

Transmission: Four-speed automatic, front-wheel drive
Wheelbase: 110.5 in
Length: 200.4 in
Width: 72.9 in
Height: 58.7 in
Curb weight: 3553 lb (LS)
EPA (city/hwy): 21/31 mph (3.5-liter V-6); 19/27 mpg (3.9-liter V-6); 18/28 mpg (5.3-liter V-8)

Still FWD... ugh.

At least they're moving the right direction with the SS version. It's supposted to be powered with a V8, not the usual supercharged v6.

A 5.3L V8, wtf is that like a 314 cubic inch. Some new lame chevy motor. Im surprized they can fit a V8 into there. Hopefully its RWD in the SS model, ofcourse it'll be lame FWD

Its almsot 2 tons, thats things gone be such a turd. Atleast get 250+hp for that thing. Not even worthy of SS badges

Wasn't the Chevy Impala an iconic name, not up to scratch with american cars but wasn't the old 1960's or 70's models cool classics, I mean that 2006 model pictured isn't really desirable, looks like its been made by a korean manufacturer like Kia.
