G6 Convertible Delayed for Quality Issues

Mounting problems with its retractable hardtop reportedly may delay the introduction of the new Pontiac G6 convertible until January or beyond.
Not that anyone on here is waiting too anxiously for the G6 vert to be released... haha

What do you guys think about this car however?

I personally HATE pontiacs because they stole the BMW kidney grill.

As much as I dont really like domestic cars, I think it looks okay. I wouldn't buy one though, seems like a lot of the american car companies are having delays or bigger issues near launch of cars. I haven't really followed BMW's launches but have they been having quality issues, or any design issues near launches? I want to be informed before I go out and say that Germans cars are produced better and have fewer delays.

EVERYONE has delays... US car companies just publicize absolutely everything they do because their customers are accustomed to it, the press demands information, AMERICANS ARE INPATIENT (we are, jsut face it :-p) and in the united states, large companies tend to operate on the theory taht no press is bad press.
