Assumingly there's major talk of GM noticing Ford's success with the mustang and reviving the Camaro / Firebird to compete with it. Look at some of the designs for the 2007 Camaro. COMPLETE rip off of the 2005 mustang. Lame, lame, lame.

HOLY SHIT!!! thats wierdly amazing. The grill looks like the ones from 69-70, and the rear tailights look like they came off a Corvette.

i really like f bodys and that looks way better tahn the new mustang in my opinion. i plan to get one of those and race my neighbor's new mustang. i would like a camaro z28 with like the new ls7 engine thats supposed to make like 500 hp

It looks better than the new Mustangs. I liked the previous Mustang bodystyle from 1999-2004 better...but whatever!

ford cant do shit right, the new mustang is only doing well cause its the only car around w/ 300 horses under 30k.

i actually saw that concept a long long time ago, around 2 years ago i think.. so idk how much of a rip off it really is..

i might take it. ford can't do shit right? they seem to do trucks pretty well. and the new ford GT and the new range rover and every mustang since the 80's has outsold its GM competition. but i guess thats not doing shit right.

i guess doing shit right means that every truck and full size SUV you build has the same outdated dashboard. doing shit right must mean putting truckish leaf springs on the back end of a corvette. I guess doing things right is stretching the term corporate partsbin to the limits (chevy suburban= yukon xl=yukon xl denali= cadillac ESV) i know ford does this but not to the point that the common idiot can see that they're the same bodies. doing shit right must mean taking an amazing beast like the hummer H1 and building a pussy ass H@ off the chevy tahoe chassis. and then to outdo the shittyness, you take the semi cool H2 and build the H3 with is smaller than my old intrepid using the envoy chassis and stealing the ghey lights from the new jee grand cherokee.

i'm glad "ford doesn't do shit right"

No ford cant do anything right at all, from the explorer to the GT theyve fucked everything they make up.. explorers have hubs fly off on the highway, rims shatter, etc..

The f150 is probably their best creation.. and even that shows its design flaws, the previous generation f150 has the worst crash test ratings of any truck in the last 10 years i beleive.. the thing just completely compacts when it hits something. The new f150 is a much much safer car.. but we will see what else theyve done wrong here.

Also, dont forget that newer suv ford has come out with that fails the roof strength requirments for a flip. The roof of a car is required to hold 1.5 times the weight of the car, i forget the name of the suv that ford made that failed this, but i do know it doesnt even hold the vehicles weight in a flip. (its one of the smaller suv's)

You mention the GT as a good example of their engineering.. while i wouldnt mind owning one, it is extremely over priced for what it is. The build quality is well below par for a 200k car (yes i know its msrp is around 150, but the ford dealers sell them for a 210k markup). Not to mention the 5th gear problems that they have..

I do like mustangs though. I wouldnt want to own anything other than a cobra in the old body style.. but the fox platform notchbacks look very good imo, and are cheap performance cars. Its pretty sad though when you realize ford has been using the same chassis for the mustang for around 25 years.. thats ridiculous.

GM isnt perfect either, but their problems seem to come from bad marketing and managment decisions, not engineering. I agree the whole SUV line they have is shit.. theyre all the same god damn car. And the H3 is a goddamn disgrace to what hummer stands for.. but IMHO gm trucks are better than fords. I would take a 4x4 chevy sierra over an f150 anyday.

But dissing the vette is just over the top, the c5 is probably the best performance car out there for the money right now.. and the c6 z06 is a fucking beast, its 65k and blows 200k cars out of the water. Did i mention it has a top speed of 180 mph?

i'm only going to touch on the vette thing. the z06 owns all, i get that. but on the stock c5 and c6's come with leaf spring rear suspensions, which is just lame. you know it is. they used to share the same leaf spring set up as the s10 pickup :ghey.
