Sweet Euro Car

I knwo this is a bimmer forum but when i was looking through some euro car mags i bought a couple months ago in france, i came across this car that i thought was worth mentioning its called the "Renaultsport Megane trophy" Its built by renault. It looks really funky, i'll give you that, but for what its got and the weight it doesn't have i'm damn near sure that it'd wax anything on american roads. I'll give y'all the pure numbers and you can go google and read more and see pictures (I promise after you see the numbers you'll be interested)

Engine: 16-valve, 4-cylinder Turbo developed by Renaultsport
Capacity: 1998cc
Max Output:330Bhp @ 5500rpm
Max Torque: 300Nm ISO @ 3000rpm
0-62mph: 4.5 seconds
Top speed 147mph (Electronically Limited)
Weight: 900Kg

now before you make fun of the wing that obscene wing on top adds up to 600kg of downforce at 120mph

There are a couple different version of the car, but the one i'm talking about the 2006 where the engine is so big that they took out the back seat and replaced it with the engine....sounds like fun.

It may look funny, but it puts up serious numbers and after all, it is a french company..

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.

i don't think its pure turbo, i mean obviously with an engine that size turbo is a big deal, but Renault sport is one of the best euro racintg divisions building some of the fastest best race cars in europe. I'm sure it would still put up big without the turbo. BTW my girlfriends brothers boyfriend (yes you read that right) has an Evo 8 . I'm not exactly impresssed with the turbo on it. I am impressed with his 600Hp Eclipse though....that was a mondo fun ride down the freeway
