Hey JR,

Do you do most of the mods yourself or do you have a shop that does them for you? Did you tune your e30 or a shop?

How come you decided on a turbo for your e30 instead of a S/C? Was a S/C even available? I am assuming you modded an e30 325i.

The Dinan S/C for my car runs about $10K, give or take and the LSD for my car from Dinan is $6000. If I go F/I, I should have just bought an M5. We shall see what the fiance, soon to be wife, allows me to spend our money on .

Thanks for the info!

So I went to take pics before the people left. I will upload those sometime this weekend. I get a call from my buddy who went on the drive and a young lady trying to pass some cars got into a head-on collision. She was okay, but her passenger was unlucky. Her passenger broke her femur and was stuck in the car. The firewall collapsed and was pinning her leg. The other driver had a broken hip and broken femur. They most likely had to be transported to Seattle via a helicopter. Pretty crazy. Her bimmer was probable totaled. She was driving a 328i I guess.

That is awesome JR. That is unbelievable that Steve Dinan tuned your car. Did you buy it new in 91? I missed you at the drive today. I took pics. Rebecca, my smarter half, kept telling me not to go on the drive and she had a bad feeling. I listened and headed home, but I wanted to see your car.

No didn't buy it new in '91. I'm the 3rd owner now. And it's too bad about what happened, but if you check DTM, you'll see that she's okay and is at the movies tonight. The others are going to be in the hospital for a little while recovering
