mehhh. would have been better if people had been set up along the drive and taken pictures of hte car driving by IMO. and that rattling is really distracting.

I agree video of the car going by would have been better. Still pretty decent for a 1st vid. Makes me want a camera for the next time i track the car. Also a hood camera would be pretty sweet, you can get an attachment for the camera and then suction cup the camera to the hood.

hahaha i didn't like the music either. he said it was eminem and gorillaz or some shit. i like the idea of several spots with cameras setup. then maybe mix it into the in car vid???
the rattling is from the camera on the mount. he has a kinda ghetto camera with plastic threads for the mount so it shakes a bit.
i have one i have to post up of my car doing donuts from his camera too. i have in car footage off of mine and out of car footage from his so maybe we'll edit it and host it up

hahaha he was hella drunk when he was yellin at ya that night, i was beyond trashed and then somehow we ended up jumpin into lake samish and then i slept in my car... weird.
ya i was makin comments on the lane switching too. on some of those corners i wouldn't have done it. in general i think the vid is cooler with more extreme angles from the turns anyways...

Ahhhhh good old chuckaunut......... I remember doing 120 on the farmland flats running from the cops when I was 20. I passed a couple cars on the flats too, the cop never caught up. That road is beautiful, and I am actually thinking that I might take a trip up there this week just to drive it.

What a road! Here all we have is straight and intersections. Oh wait, there is one road with a decreasing radius curve. I try to drive it at least every other day

meh, the vids ok, but i LOVE that road. now i just happen to live about 35 seconds from the start of it. my brother drives it to work every day in his 350Z. nuts. he scares the living hell out of me. he said he hit 160 in the flats the other day, and ran out of room, not rpm's... :o

i call bs on that!
i've hit 150 and had plenty of room, no revs though
i've not been too impressed with the z either. it has a 6 speed but i doubt if he made it to 160 he ran out of room

there is nothing to not be "impressed" with the 350z, its a different car than any bimmer on the road... stop light to stop light its not that fast of a car... i have test driven plenty.. and was rather dissapointed (but it is smooth and steady from a stop, which is more than i can give the rex) however get that car on the freeway and in the rigt gear stock or even with a few bolt ons and bye bye, car moves. it could easily get to 160 on those flats (as for running out of room... did you start 10 miles down it or what? if you start right away i could go from 70-150 70-150 70-150 7 times before the end of the road in the rex. that road is long!

it wasn't on the long stretch. he could've hit 160+ no problem there. it was on the first 1.5 miles on the Bham side, coming from burlington. there are definitely other places with much better straightaways on that road. but he says, "proof? i'll take you for a ride with a camera. that'd be fun." any takers? haha.
