Possible meet and scenic drive - United Bimmer Community

....I finally got the details together:

Central Mass Meet and Scenic Drive

-When: August 12th

-Meeting place: Worcester, MA @ Greendale Mall in the parking lot under the I-190 bridge. (7 Neponset Street)

-Try to get there by 1:30-1:45pm and hopefully we will leave by 2pm.

-Our destination will be Judies. It is a good restaurant in Amherst that is reasonably priced.

-I will have typed directions for the route we will be taking at the meet.

**This will be a fairly long ride so plan accordingly (ie: get gas, etc beforehand)**

It will take a little while to get out of the city and get to the back roads but it will be worth it. Also, if you have walkie-talkies, bring them. For anyone who doesn't know where the Greendale Mall is, it is exit 1 off I-190. If anyone needs directions on how to get there, drop me an e-mail and I'll give you some.

OK, I dont have a date yet, but it will probably be some time in the beginning of August.

Sounds great. How many people have contacted you? And yeah I only new about your thread from seeing it in the Worc Mag. I'm glad they put it in, but I would call them and ask how it happened. I know it's a public forum but geez you would think that would be against some rule or something. There must be an auto enthusiast working there.. I hope they are coming along.

How far away is Worcester in comparison to where Bimmerfest East was? An hr or so closer to philadelphia, pennsylvania area?

Alpine, depends on where in southen NH you are. My guess is maybe around an hour. If this helps, I can get from Worcester to New England Dragway in Epping in about an hour and 15 minutes if the traffic is light. It depepnds on where you are coming from, traffic conditions, and how fast you drive.

94bmw325i, Worcester is north of where bimmerfest was (it was in Connecticut right?). So I think it would be a bit farther from Pennsylvania.

im not to concerned with who comes. Its all in fun. I have friends coming who have Audis and VWs. Just make sure that they can keep up with us in the twisties......hehe

Still unsure of a meeting place but I choose Judies's restraunt as the destination.
