It wasn't even the media driver that crashed the car. It was the driver of the E55 that they had been comparing the M5 too. He went into the corner way to fast on uneven surface conditions and lost it. The car didn't even have insurance on it.

The saddest part is that the engine is obviosly damaged. Notice the large amount of oil spillage in the front of the car

they said everyone was ok.. thats too bad! anyone wrecking a car like that, with an obviously avoidable accident, needs to get hit by something.. a fist, a bat, a tree, or a car window will do.

Beem...your car can't do 145 mph.... Best t've done is 131...and i didnt want to go higher. Max is supposed to be 133.

I read this article a few days ago. What real BMW said was true, the E55 owner is the one who crashed it. Two of the passengers walked away without a scratch. The other passenger had some scrapes I believe. Talk about safety considering it rolled 3.5 times.

dude, he rolled the car multiple times and then hit a tree. And if u look at how well the car stood up to that, i highly doubt its gonna hurt sales. it just goes to show how well BMW's are made when u can roll the car and still walk away virtually unhurt.

DUDE just because the best you have done is 131 means nothing and has nothing to do with my car. THats YOUR car, not mine. Ive got the speed limiter removed and it took me a while to get up to that speed. I didnt exactly fly up to it in 20 seconds with my BIGASS M20 MOTOR. And what the hell is a 'max supposed to be 133' ? SAys who?!? haha sorry thats one of the dumbest things ive heard, esp when you are talking about speeds of 130-140. (160-190 okay, but not what you are trying to talk about)

Automatic m20 e34: 130 mph @ 5100 rpm. It's a safe bet to say that a 5 speed with a chip can do 145 as it moves the limiter up to 6800 (I believe) rpm.

Destroying a Bimmer like that should be a capital offense, and the means of execution should be going through the exact same accident again.....in a honda civic....
