M3General discussion and technical help all year M3 cars.
It's throwing a CEL 1224.... a bad air intake sensor in the intake manifold. Every time I turn on the car, the rev's drop to zero and it stalls.
Good news is it can be reached fairly easily, and the part is only $60'ish.
Still though, until I get back to Athens later this weekend, my car is sitting dead in a church parking lot (the first place where I could pul over when it started acting up).

Sucks man but at least its a cheap fix and the ///M will be back on the road soon. May i suggest seafoaming it since you will be in the manifold anyway? its a real easy 10 min job through the brake booster line. May as well do it if you are going to be in there

Geeze Harry!
You and your cars are something else.
Good thing it's in a church parking lot. Maybe some prayers for that car while it's there, and good thing too, becuase God is watching over your M3 while it's there.
