LOL, Harrys' going to hate this reply: Go to members list and look up Komodo - then click on "all posts started by Komodo" j/k
Harry has had an unusual amount of things go wrong on a couple of his rides - the Ironic part - he's this sites founder. (sorry Harry, I had to tell him)
Every time I turn on the car, the rev's drop to zero and it stalls.
I had the same problem with my car recently. It turned out that the reason for it was the ICV was kinda fucked. I had it replaced cause it was beyond cleaning or what not and now everything is fine.
Also Harry if u need to drive it (save ur self a tow truck), when u start the car depress the gas so the engine has more RPMs than idle, that way it wont stall allowing u to shift into gear and drive away. But dont take ur foot off the gas, it has to have at least 1000rpm+ or ittl die. Thats how i was able to get mine home and to the shop when my ICV went.
Changing the oil that often isnt good for the engine btw
Why's that?
And actually, I got off easy. It wasn't the sensor after all. The elbow hose that connects the HFM to the Throttle Body broke and was causing a huge vacuum leak... the engine couldn't get any air. lol
I cancelled the order on the sensor and I'm picking up a replacement hose in about an hour.
