M3General discussion and technical help all year M3 cars.
Test drove a silver 2002 M3 coupe yesterday. Gooooooooooooood it was sweet... Took me a while to get used to the all manual version of the SMG tranny... But damn though I really enjoyed it once I got it.
The car was lowered, had bremdo's all around, rims, chip, and exhaust.
First run I did in auto at a quarter mile I was like... ok, pretty sweet....
Then did the same thing in the manual version that's when it got fun, I have to say I was really impressed this time around. Last M3 I was in, I guess was with a bad driver, but I was really not impressed at all, but damn this one really made me think twice though...
Just wanted to share my experience with you guys
The cool thing is on the second run, my dad was with me and he really enjoyed it too
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
^^^ cant that only be done like 5 times then it voids your warrenty? i thought i heard something about that, coz they dont want you doing that all the time.
can you imagine. at every red light, all M3 SMG's launching and leaving rubber. . . that would be a sight.
Switch off the stability system and select shift program six. Switch the engine to sport mode. With the hand shifter in drive, hold it in the downshift position and press the gas pedal. The engine will rev to the preprogrammed rpm and hold. Now release the shifter. The car will launch forward violently and the engine's revs will climb quickly, so be prepared to upshift.

Thats from another thread. I'd take an E30 M3 for its collectors value. I'd also only drive it once or twice a month. Go with the E46 if you plan on actually driving it.

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.

yeah I'm looking for a daily driver. But keep in mind, I can't afford an E46 M3 (yet ), I just drove that one because I could
