i think i like.... look at the side skirts... they're covered, which means something all new

i actually really like the back end of this car, looks good to me. not sure on how round that hood is though

look at interior shots... thank god no iDrive!!!

celsdogg 06-08-2006 07:24 AM

yeah, the hood looks bulbous. i dont like that either.

Dudesky 06-08-2006 07:33 AM

The Hofmeister kink looks great on it tho.

EcianIce 06-08-2006 10:41 AM

i'm pretty sure he covered up the skirts and bumper so as not to scratch it up.

that looks pretty .. weird though, it's all dirty, and the wheels are .. ugly at best. as for overall style, i can only say i'd give it a 7/10.

celsdogg 06-08-2006 10:49 AM

i noticed with BMW that they put ugly rims on when a model first comes out. take the E46 for example. back in 2000/01 some of them were ugly and small, then they started getting better and larger as well.

Rooz 06-08-2006 10:57 AM

What's up with the beated up side skirts covers :lol ?

I don't like the ass end of it... dunno why... other than that, looks better than the new 3 series IMO

xsperf 06-08-2006 08:30 PM

yea, i agree w/rooz, i HATE the back end, front end looks fine tho, since it has such a huge bulge in the hood, i assume its a V8 :)

Numark318i 06-08-2006 08:34 PM

the rear end is growing on me...heh.
but overall..i think its gonna be sweet.

DEATH2000 06-09-2006 12:30 PM

Wow... that looks sweeet.

dinan540 06-09-2006 12:59 PM

It is a V8 with 400 ponies. That is sweet. I still like the new z4 M coupe. That is a James Bond car.

Chris 06-10-2006 03:42 AM

of course the rims are shit and so is half the other stuf... they alreayd have the body down, they're working on the drivetrain and suspension at this point.

nick_318is 06-10-2006 06:43 PM

I would drive that. They need to drop the front end at least another inch though.

xsperf 06-10-2006 07:04 PM

^^ they probably have it pretty high because of weight distribution, i guess that big v8 weighs a lot :(

nick_318is 06-10-2006 07:55 PM

^it weighs as much as the outgoing 3.2L six from what I saw early in news about that car.

Longhairedhippy 06-30-2006 07:48 AM

I like it. I\'m sure that since this is a test mule rather than a full-production prototype, there will be some noticeable differences between the car you see in those photos and the car that\'ll be hitting showrooms.
