bimmerworld has the engines listed for around 6800. a euro 6 speed tranny will run you 3500+ from there you have a good start,but if you have ever been around an engine swap you know theres so many little parts and tools you end up buying it all adds up. PLus labor if you arent installing your self. Theres place around here thatll get me an m3 motor and tranny plus install for 5grand.. not to shabby... I can save myself a grand by doing it myself though David |

yeah it is a very fair price, but saving a grand or so.... by doing it yourself never hurts either David |

E36 evo engine would be so badass, but that E30 engine is amazing as well.

I'm asshamed that you don't know the specs already. 1995 M3 3.0 ltr Euro engine has 286 hp. 1996-1999 M3 3.2 ltr Euro engine has 321 hp. |

I assume your talking about the 3.5 ltr Alpina engine that was only installed in around 200 E30 BMWs? It produced 254 hp with a catalyst. Alpina engines have custom internals and are extremely expensive to rebuild. Thats if your able to find one. |

I think its better to go with euro 3.2 1999 M3 engine, and maybe make some mods for some more power
