yes I recommend using Super Glue on the area to be drilled, prior to drilling. This will keep the carbon fiber ends together when drilling. Also you will want to tape the area. Also do not drill fast and if possible as soon as your drill tip is about to go through. Stop, and drill from the other side, also tapped. I found that our cobalt drill bits are the best to use.
