so im surfing www.rx7club.com and i see a thread that says "Z3 or M3?" a few pages into the thread, this guy says:

The E36 chassis, while fine for a DD, is quite flawed when pushed hard or fed much power.

The E36 M3 is the only rwd car I've ever driven with a torque steer problem. But I guess you're used to that.

is this true? i dont think its even possable? im pritty sure this isnt even possable... but i thought i might check and make sure just in case. because im not going to listen to some one who says "quite flawed when pushed hard or fed much power."

i thought torque steer usually referred to FWD cars and how when you give it gas in the corner it tends to lift out of the turn rather than hold to the line you put it in. i don't know what the hell this guy is talking about

that'd be understeer.

but you are right that torque steer is only applicable to a fwd car.

if you're m3 pulls to the left or right you probably need new rtabs or something. a car with good suspension will have no such affect.

yeah... but i thought that if you floor it from a stop one wheel might spin more then the other and creat a "torque steer" effect.

. haha. dumb thought i guess.

The guy is a dumbass. Maybe he's only driven one e36 in his life and it happened to be tramlining. MY car is currently suffeering from bump steer.
