If my car had a neck....

...I would choke the life out of it right now! I just get over this flood crap and my door locks shit the bed, now only the door that the key is in will lock or unlock at the time, and im stuck at school without any of my tools or space to really work on the car so i will have to wait till i go home to fix it. secondly the check engine light is on and i tried turning the cars electrics on and pumping the pedal 5 times and what not but i got nothing! and FINALY my freaking battery just died so ill have to go pick up another one! If any one can help with any of the above problems it would b greatly apprecaited, mayb a diagram of the locking mechanisms and such, im not to worried about it it would just help if i had something to work off of! ahhhh the joys of owning a 10 year old car! lol

As far as your locks, try re-synchronizing. Here's how-> Lock pass door all the way to emergency lock position (approx 110 degrees from center -clockwise) Then unlock drivers door. If locks do not operate repeat a couple of times. Also if battery is dead that could mess them up and set off your check engine light. Flood damage is always a bitch, a friend bought a "flood car" (from midwest a couple years ago) and we made it a project car over the winter. He bought a beater to drive then we generally gutted the interior and replaced anything that looked like it was coroded or oxidized from water. Now he has a killer old 6 series :wave
