She Ok!

My baby pulled through unscathed! but now i have a few new problems, the battery is on its way out and needs to be replaced, and about 45 min on my way home my check engine light came on, so i called the shop which is owned by a family friend, and they said that they didnt run into anything like that, but to get the code pulled and let them know what it was, they will take care of me if i need it. O man the drive home was so much fun tho i had a smile plastered to my face the entire way (it is all curvy new hampshire roads!) lol i was moving so fast that i caught my friend that left the shop like 30 min before me haha. so any ways the car is going to be OK! thanks to everyone for the kind words!

wooo. I'm happy for you man.

xsperf 10-27-2005 11:26 PM

wow soo glad, congrats bro! its probably your 02 sensor.. haha, or atleast lets hope its something very minor. you can actually have the code pulled yourself, i think you have to depress the gass pedal 3 times or something, then it will give you a code on the OBC and u can go look it up, im not exactly sure how, im sure one of our fellow brethren can fill you in

Glad to hear everything is OK Hutch. Does anyone know if that method works to check codes for the e46 models. Seems like it's just to good to be true.
