yea, 155 is the gentlemans agreemant set forth by BMW, Mercedes,Porsche and i belive Audi. Basicly it states that all cars coming into the US or Canada from any of those manufacturers will be governed to 155mph for saftey reasons.

ok, cool, then that guy wasn't bsing. I was talking to this one guy that has an E46 M3, his car is just goergeous. But anyways, he was saying that the fastest he's tok his car was 155...

I'm pretty sure Porsche is not in that gentlemens agreement. And the other stated manufactures gov. all of their cars destined to any market.

Yea i wasnt sure on Porsche. Sadly here in Canada ALL vehicles for sale have to be limited to 155mph or about 255kmh.
