for most of them, they are reaching there 15+ year mark. meaning everything, and yes I do mean, everything has to be kept up, replaced, or re-conditioned. Parts for E30 M3's are a little more expensive than other models. Maintenance and upkeep will litteraly take over you. But, they are a blast to drive, its like driving a go cart IMO

That is true. We used to have an '85 325e with 220K on it and it constantly had something wrong with it. In the end the tranny blew and we finally got rid of it. It was suprisingly clean for such a high milaege car though.

Everything for the M up to 1994 was [handmade]. therefore to get a part it is going to be far more expensive. adding to the 15 year mark thing. they're so badass though!
