99 M3 Oil Change - United Bimmer Community

I'm changing my oil for the first time on my M3. Is there anything I should be aware of that would be a potential issue for a first timer.

i use 20w50 in mine and the car loves it. i usually overfill it by a 1/4qt to avoid the valve tick otherwise the procedure is straight forward.

10w50 synthetic in mine, also changed at three bars on the service indicator -as a precaution- as suggested by BM dealer tech trainer. So about every 12,500kms (approx 8,000miles)
