K&N Intake System leaves no home for IAS
Yeah, so I just have my intake air temp sensor hanging out next to the driver side strut mount in the engine compartment, bc my 3" air intake pipe doesnt have a place to mount my sensor. It's strapped via plastic tie on my master cylinder. (Pretty ghetto rigged) My car runs a little rough before it warms up. Does anyone know if this is due to my IAS or what effects its having on my air/gas mix? I smell gas upon starting the engine cold. Im thinking of modding an intake tube to stick the IAS into that will reach fresh air from the bottom of the car. I wont bother if it wont do anything. |
