OBD 1 or OBD 2 m3?

Im looking to buy an e36 m3. As far as i'v seen, the '95 3.0 m3s are a bit more spendy. Iv heard they handle better because of weight distribution and mods are easier than on a 96-99 m3. how much of a difference do these things make? is it worth finding and paying for a '95? im not planning on any really extensive modifications. at most id like to install an aa supercharger down the road

95 is easier to modify hands down, the only reason you should get anything newer is if you want a car with less miles and at a younger age for reliability problems/prolonged life

My chemistry TA said that OBD-II BMW's have mad sensor problems. But i dunno man. Marco's M is pretty sweet and its an OBD 2

My OBD II is just fine. The biggest sensor problem Ive had is the coolant sensor. But that will be with any e36. OBD II has more tq, and yes will get you a new car with less mileage. Head over to bimmerforums, there is a VAST amount of OBD I vs OBD II knowledge
