...exhaust replacement from the downpipe back.

"Night and day" is my first observation. That is... the "old" stock exhaust was loud, very very loud. With a rattle from h*ll.

It was compromised in several places. It had contributed to many sleepy drives between San Antonio and Austin and back.

The level of carbon monoxide in my bloodstream must have been through the roof !!! Exhaust leaks - bad for one's health.

Got the center section from a leading OEM parts warehouse... $332.

Got the rear silencer from "the other" OEM parts warehouse... $299.

Both parts were produced by Eisenmann in Germany. Superb OEM quality.

50,000 mile warranty... unexpected.

Two hour installation time... not too shabby.

Deep "OEM" M-series rumble... priceless !!! :woot:woot:woot

thats great! hehe, i thought you were gonna say the loud noise HELPED your drowsiness, but i guess you could think of it both ways!

nice. i have to do that with my 318. Im pretty sure im killing my self slowly with exhaust fumes in that car.
