Lowbeam failure
I have the umnitza HID headlight assemblies. The angel eyes still work, but the driver lowbeam does not always work.
I have a flickering lowbeam light on the drivers side. I will get the message: "check lowbeam." It has happened 2 times the past 2 nights. The bulb will be on when I start my car and then it will go off.
How do I know if it is the xenon bulb that is bad or the ballast? Any help would be appreciated.

I had a lowbeam failure on my car, and like celsdogg is saying, I just had to use a little emory paper on the connections to fix it. I have stock 9006 bulbs, and headlights, but I would still check that. They seem to corrode very easily.
Just a tip for you guys (especially in north - where temps change radically) whenever changing bulbs, inspecting them... put a little dab of di-electric grease on the contacts - very little, it will keep moisture and corrossion down to a minimum and help prevent surges and bulb premature failure.
