LED Tail lights not working??????
Just purchased, LED tail lights for my car and the indicator on my gauge is on, telling me that the tail light are out. So i go and check the tail lights and they are working perfectly except that they flicker from time to time? Does any body know what's going on, or if i need something extra.
where did you purchase them from? eBay or a respected place with only OEM parts?
btw, i think the light comes on if the sensor doesn't get the exact current or voltage reading or something. my mom was having a problem with her taillights in her E39, but it was because she replaced the taillight bulbs with shitty bulbs and it was causing a flux in the circuit.
that might not help, but hey, i tried.

I purchased the lights from ebay. Seller sells oem quality products. According to him..... i checked his feedback and he had great feedback on the products he sold.
i think you need a resistor pack or capacitors or something. probably capacitors. makes more sense because you are now using LED's which draw less current. thats how the indicator system knows there is a problem with the lights, if they are dead, they draw less current.

what you got there are euro spec tails, trouble is our cars are US specs .... no matter how many resistor packs you throw on there they will not work/illuminate properly, sigh, if it only were really as simple as the "real experts" on ebay make out to be i too would be rolling in it.
the working version rooz got from me are available here: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=599798
