Brake light failure

Just got some new smoked taillights from umnitza and put them in. I put the right one in, tested it, it worked fine. I then installed the left one and now neither of the right and left brake lights work, and the OBC reads "Brake light failure". The middle brake light in the middle works fine. I replaced the switch, and they still arent working. The bulbs should be fine because the brakes were working with the old tail lights. Any help is appreciated.

Try the old tailights. If they still work then the left one could be causing to high of a resistance, or a bad ground.

Hey thanks, just went out and unplugged both lights, then plugged them back in and made sure the connection was good and tight, and now they both work.
