HIDs in foglights question

My left foglight bulb went out the other night so I figured it was time to just do the HID conversion. I did a search but couldn't find specific answers to what i was looking for. My question is, will any HID kit work? Or do I need a specific ballast voltage? Where did you guys mount the ballasts? Also, the bulbs in our foglights are H1's correct? And will I need to change any of the fuses for the foglights (15, 22 slots) or should the normal fuses work fine with the HIDs?

you need an h1 kit, you need some fog harness adapters for a plug n play install.
i have the fog kit available for $275 shipped with a lifetime warranty. pm or email if you're intersted.

they sit way too low to matter let alone blind others.

I was talking about the whole HID set up, not just the fogs.

those are projector headlights, the proper type for hids just like O.E, no glare and not blinding.
you might want to read up on the subject a little more to educate yourself on the various stages of lighting.

Yeah Habbie was lucky enough to get a set of Hella Ellipsoids, I still regret spending the money on my girlfriend rather than buying those Hella lights from Matt. The real Sh*& about is that had I bought it they (the lights) would still be around unlike the girlfriend. lol

i love the idea of HIDs in the foglights, but I don't want the full size foglight (it would block the cold air i have routed through the left fog "air duct"). Are there any smallish, round HID fogs that could be adapted / mounted into the existing space over to the side? Has anyone done this? Couldn't find anything like this in a search here or bf.c
thanks!

there probably would be a way of putting in those smaller fogs, and maybe making your own bracket, you could attach into the bumper. I've seen some fairly small fogs online, and at auto parts stores.

if youre looking to get them simply for show, then yeah theres always a way to fit them in, but if you want them to serve an actual purpose in weather, go yellow
