Are the bottom part of those bulbs the same shape as the silverstars?

sort of. the hid's have a little wire of some sort that runs underneath the bulb and connects into the very front of it. the hid's look to be a little fatter than the silverstars. both are h1 bulbs

ok, just tried the passenger side and it worked fine. i think it is that there is some glass from the headlight housing that is preventing the bulb from going in. i wonder if i have to file it down or something am i going to have any problems from getting some dust in the housing?

ok, figured it out. just had to sand down an imperfection in the glass housing that was preventing the bulb from sliding in. they look pretty sweet. posted a few pics in the car show room.
