Check Low Beam Light After Installing Xenon Lights
I just recently installed xenon headlights in my E30, and they work great. However, the check lowbeam light has been showing up over the rearview mirror. I am aware that this is probably because hids draw less power than the halogens, so it probably tricks the car into thinking the low beam is out. However, in researching I have only seen solutions to this problem in the E34, and I could really use some help fixing this. The light usually displays when I turn the headlights off after they've been on.

You're seeing a response from the lamp check module which checks only resistance in the circuit-which is why you can't even use non-nickle based bulbs in the rest of the system. It's set to monitor the resistance from the old halogen bulb, which would be quite different from the xenon setup. maybe setting up a separate resistor from the line to the module-or maybe one of the manufacturers of the new xenon aftermarket systems have a plug in solution.........

Did these xenon aftermarket systems are found everywhere?
