hid headlight kit problems
 

hello ive just had a hid 8000k kit put on my car and im having problems with the instalation . its a 2005 525 diesel e60 model.

when i turn ignition on without running engine the kit works perfect and looks great buy when i turn the engine on after a short while they start to flicker then go of compleatly but if im driving then turn the lights on they work fine while im moving then when i have to stop at some traffic lights etc they flicker then go of. have you any idea what the problem might be and could you maybe point me in the right direction as it stands im unable to use the car at night at moment due to this. your help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like a loose connection or maybe not a good enough connection somewhere along the wiring

I think I agree, likely a ground isn't good.

You can go check it at the shop, had the same issue, they checked it and they fixed it for $15.

its just problem with your wires just change them it will be alright
