Beam Pattern Question

i'm looking for details on beam patterns. i know pencil beams are thin but reaches far while driving is not as far but wider and going further would be the fog lights where it's not far at all but very wide. what kind of pattern does automotive flood lights give out? is it a blend between driving and fog?

i'm looking to mount wide and tall rear lights on my roof rack. it's going to be used for reverse or while going camping, would be a good light to have when needed. Looking for something that throws about 40 meters and have about a 30-45 degree angle.

anyone have any insights or pictures to show the beam patterns?

thanks!
