Questions about my 325i US lighting
I dont know if what I have in my 325i 93 lighting is an orginal or made by the last owner .
1st. thing : The front signal lights is working as standard lights when I turn On the lights, while the INTERMEDIATE lights ( the small lamps of the headlight )not working!!!.
2nd. thing : When I turn On the High beam lights, the fog lights automaticly cut off!!!
I'm waiting for your opinions.

If you mean the turn signals light on lower power than while signaling with the lights on, that would be normal for US spec. If you mean the intermediate light in the headlight is a low power light in the headlight with low beams (dip beam) off, there is none in US spec, the low power signal takes the place of that. Fog lights cutting off with bright or main beams is normal US spec.

So, Do you mean that every thing my car lighting is normal.
But,,, how about the fog lights, Are you sure that's normal. When I try to do flashing by the bright beam, the fog lights turn off. And when I turn the bright beam off, the fog lights come on again!!!. Is'nt seems like a stupid thing. Why did they make it like that?
Please Be sure that's normal, and tell me.
I cant bileave this. I havent see any american car do somthing like this before.
Thanks,

Yes, it all seems totally normal. The idea is that the fog lights are redundant because they are unnecessary if you are able to switch to bright beams. This same relay is unavoidably used when using the bright beam flash. My E30 lights do all these things exactly as you described.

I'd actually love to have the low light turn signals... I think it looks good
I found an instruction on how to do it on a German website, so I guess I'll do that in the next couple weeks
it's actually no big deal, they say it takes you bout 30 minutes

Why does it really matter? How often are you driving with your hi beams on?
