E36 depo vs djauto headlights
I'm thinking about upgrading the lighting on my '95 325i. Does anyone know if there is any signifigant difference between the Depo headlights and the djauto headlights on bavtoys.com? I'd like to get an HID kit eventually but im just looking to get new headlight assemblies with angel eyes right now. Also is there any major differences between the Prolumen HID kits and the KWD HID kits?

if you are planning on going hids get the depo, they are much better the the djauto and work a lot better with hids.
the prolumen are the best kit bar none, its digital and has the latest in technology.
the kwd is a full size kit, very reliable and basic, its a good kit.
i have djauto ellisoids with angel eyes pre-installed on my 97 e36 and i love them. not only do they look closer to OEM spec than the depo's but i have had zero problems with them. ALSO, i have an HID kit that i added later and it all works flawlessly. the only even slight thing i have noticed is that when i turn on the HIDs my gauges all dip for a split second and then bounce back, but that has nothing to do with the djauto headlights. btw i paid 250 shipped for the djauto's (i dunno how much they are on bavtoys)

I disagree. I have had ZKW's, Depos, and DJ Auto. The Depo and DJ auto lights are exactly the same except the clip on the back of the headlight that holds the cover on over the light. They are the same with a different stamp on the front (DJ instead of Depo). I have DJ Auto on my car currently and would buy them again. The only reason I would every buy ZKW's again is to be able to say, "hey I have ZKW's" lol
No matter what you go with, spend the extra money and buy some clear Laminx to go over the front so you dont crack them
Some people are like slinkies, they are not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs
